EINSTEIN! ~ Celebrating 100 Years of General Relativity. This is the multi-award winning and critically acclaimed show that has over 150 performances under its belt. This 80-minute show is designed for a general audience and has played in many Performing Art Centers around the country. Einstein comes back from the beyond. Frustrated that no one has heard the real science history behind General Relativity, Albert takes us back to Berlin in 1914 where he is sent sideways in a world crumbling around him due to The Great War, a science establishment that doesn’t believe him, those that do try to wrestle the theory away from him. He is being isolated for his pacifist views, has a wife who won’t give him a divorce, faces a huge scientific backlash, anti-Semitism, a 10-year old son fighting for his affections, and finally a nervous breakdown that lay him bed ridden for two months. Told with humor, 3D graphics that help give us an insight to his brilliant mind, Albert Einstein comes to life as Jack Fry revitalizes one of the most intriguing icons of all time.
EINSTEIN! ~ Imagination Encompasses the World. This 50-minute school version of the show is designed for middle school through high school. It is similar to the above description in that we take the ride of Albert’s struggles as he wrestles with his theory, family, and colleagues, but goes deeper with his thought experiments, and how his imagination played a key role in his solving relativity and helping him rise above his personal and professional challenges. With more visuals, thought experiments, and a science experiment with the students, this version gives us a deeper explanation of how using our own imaginations can improve our lives. Both performances offer a Q and A afterwards, and a standards based study
guide to review before, after, and beyond the show.
Both shows focus on how Einstein lifted himself out of life-altering, Herculean-sized challenges with his imaginative thought experiences and gut determination. Einstein’s early years in Berlin are explored as he struggles to prove his theory of General Relativity and prove his relativity as a father.
Based on the 2007 trove of information release by Hebrew University, this play highlights the trials we all face as individuals in a world that at times, doesn’t want us to succeed.
“Funny, touching, intimate... a triumph!”

A solo play written and performed by Jack Fry and directed by Tom Blomquist
When other solo artists present important historical figures from our past, as enjoyable as these shows are, they usually talk about their accomplishments in the past tense-- making them dramatic monologues from a singular voice with limited points of view.
Mr. Fry uses many perspectives, fleshes out characters and story, creating fully realized scenes as dramatic moments unfold and blossom on stage. As audience members, we relive these wonderful points-in-time, making us witnesses to history as these remarkable figures of our past might have experienced them themselves.
Although, the traditional framework for the historic solo show is admirable. Mr. Fry takes a bold, effective and innovative approach putting the audience member in the roller coster ride next to Einstein in a way that few historical solo shows have done in the past.
